The cold climate in Minnesota and Wisconsin requires extra tools, care, and knowledge in order to properly pour concrete.  One tool, not owned by many, is a ground heater.  This tool enables Economy Garages to warm a site and remove frost to ensure that the concrete can be poured within the product’s tolerances.  The combination of the warm ground and a top cover of curing blankets allows the concrete to go through its early hydration phase without freezing.  This is critical when pouring concrete in sub-freezing temperatures.  Economy Garages owns two of these units which allow us to complete late-season projects.
