I’m going to go out a limb here and say, “Nobody likes to pay for insurance”; however, it can become very important to review and understand your coverages as the economy changes.  We have come across many people that needed a new garage because their previous one aged out, was destroyed by fire, or collapsed from snow loads.  These folks, as most, thought their insurance would cover the cost to construct a new building to replace their loss; unfortunately, since the COVID pandemic, the fast-rising costs of materials and labor forced the price of buildings to over double in this very short time, but their coverages stayed the same.  To take it one step further, upon completion of your new building is a good time to review your policy.
