Many people do not realize that transportation to most sites with heavy trucks and trailers is restricted during the spring thaw.  State highways typically have no restrictions but there is not a very high percentage of people that have their driveways coming off these roads.  County roads cover most of the restricted travel and vary quite a bit on the weights allowed on them.  The allowed weights will be posted on the county road signs for each road; however, if the road is not posted, the road is the same rating as the roads that access it.  City and municipal roads may or may not be restricted since they regulate their own.  They typically do not post so it may require a call to the municipality.
