Supply Chain Issues

Problems with the supply of different materials has reared its ugly head many times over the years.  Prices or lack of petroleum being produced affects products like shingles, vinyl siding, roofing felt and ice-n-water shield.  Steel/aluminum problems affect garage doors, nails, truss plates, anchor bolts, and soffit and fascia products.  Logging/lumber tariffs can easily affect availability of dimensional and engineered lumber products.  The COVID-19 pandemic has shown that a lack of labor will affect all products from manufacturing through transportation which is still a serious, ongoing issue.
