Tidbits from the Top
Concrete –
Compressive Strength
There are limitless options when it comes to how a concrete mix is designed. Economy Garages uses a mix strength above the International Residential Code, used in Minnesota, and the Uniform Dwelling Code, used in Wisconsin. These codes require concrete flatwork for detached accessory buildings to have a minimum compressive strength of 3,500 psi (pounds per square inch). The strength of the mix used by Economy Garages is rated at 4,000 psi.
