Excavation Crew

Experience Required

This is a full-time, weekday, position requiring a reliable and hard-working individual. The excavation crew needs to be knowledgeable about all dirt work and be comfortable making safe decisions on site.

Tasks

Driving Company Vehicles
Calculating Fill Quantities
Placing and Compacting Dirt
Knowledge of Fill Types
Use of Excavators
Use of Skid Steers
Use of Rake, Tamper, & Transit

Requirements

Ability to Respectfully Communicate
2+ Years Experience in Machine Operations & Prep
Pass a Post-Offer Drug Test & Physical
Lift 75 lb
Ability to Perform Basic Math
Ability to Do Physical Labor
Valid Driver’s License

Preferences

2+ Years Experience in Excavation
High School+ Level Math
Class A License (Must be willing to learn and test for one if not already achieved.)

What Do We Pay?

The pay for this position will be based on experience. The owner would be happy to hold an interview to discuss knowledge and pay. We pride ourselves at Economy Garages for our fair pay scale and pay raise system. We base our pay raises on time worked as well as quality of performance with no pay caps in place. If you work hard for us, you will be rewarded.

$21.50 Per Hour
