Building SHells –

House & Cabin

Did you ever think that structural boxes can be used for houses and cabins, not just garages?  Approximately five percent of the buildings we build are either a shell for a house or cabin.  We call it a shell because the building is finished on the outside, but only exterior-wall studs are seen on the inside.  This is a great option for those that would like the structural framework of the building to be completed in a short amount of time, so weathering of the building materials does not become a factor.  It also allows the inside to be finished by you, at your pace, which saves money.  Since trusses are being used, even walls can be placed anywhere you like.
